ADATA DDR3 4GB 1600Mhz Desktop RAM Review
I originally picked up a single 2x4GB package of this RAM. I have never used ADATA before, I typically spring for more well-known name-brand hardware. However, with today’s motherboards being so complicated, they are notoriously picky about what they’ll run with. I picked up the Ivy Bridge i5-3570k Intel CPU along with the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard.
I purchased this RAM 2-3 months ago. I already had 2×2 GB of A-DATA in my machine, and was expanding to 8. Within a month of install, I started getting Blue Screened from a faulty RAM module. Took the sticks I purchased from here back out, and my tower went back to working like a champ: but only with the original 4 GB. The ORIGINAL 4 GB that came in the computer when I purchased it works great, the purchased RAM is now totally useless. However, if you are looking for a product with great dependability, another brand/seller may be better suited for you.

ADATA DDR3 4GB 1600Mhz ONLY reason I purchased this particular RAM was because it was reported that many were having problems with the motherboard I had chosen, problems that I personally identified to be most likely caused by RAM. I went to Gigabyte’s website and viewed their list of supported RAM for my motherboard, and settled on this ADATA RAM.
Haven’t had a single issue with this RAM at default speed and timing. I didn’t buy it to overclock and am not interested in doing so. I have no stability issues and haven’t in the 4 months I’ve been using it. Recently I bought another 2x4GB pack and am now running 16GB with absolutely zero issues. As I get older in building my own systems, I’m more about stability than overclocking. I’m not disappointed in this RAM in the slightest.
